Wilma Fay Wilson, 90, of Harrisonville, Missouri, formerly of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born Thursday, November 18, 1920 in South Fork, Missouri, the daughter of William E. and Audrey F. (Wallin) Moore. She departed this life at 8:45 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital-East in Lee's Summit, Missouri.

On August 9, 1941, Wilma was united in marriage to Chester J. Wilson in South Fork, Missouri. He preceded her in death on January 12, 1979.

Wilma was a homemaker. She was a kind and loving grandmother, who relished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to oil paint and spent countless hours painting pictures for her family.

Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son Jerald Wilson in September 1971 and one brother Billy Moore.

She is survived by one son Michael Wilson and his wife Terry of Gladstone, Missouri; one daughter Janet Kirk of Harrisonville, Missouri; one daughter-in-law Gail Wilson Johnson of Mesa, Arizona; four grandsons, Clifford Kirk and his wife Kris of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, Mark Kirk and his wife Carrie of Pleasant Hill, Randy Kirk and his wife Robin of Garden City, Missouri, and Gary Kirk and his wife Kaylee of Harrisonville; Eight great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; two brothers Donald V. Moore and his wife Frances of Elmo, Indiana and David W. Moore and his wife Sharon of South Fork; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Friday, July 22, 2011, at the funeral home. Pastor Randy Foster of the Heartland Baptist Fellowship in Harrisonville officiated. Interment was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Casket bearers were Clifford Kirk, Gary Kirk, Mark Kirk, Randy Kirk, Stan Simpson, and Ken Wilson.

Visitation was held Thursday evening at the funeral home.
