William C. "Bill" Driskill

William Cecil “Bill” Driskill Sr., 84, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born March 26, 1940, in Pleasant Hill, California, the son of Cecil W. and Henrietta (White) Driskill. He departed this life Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at his home.

Bill was a 1958 Wheatland, Missouri high school graduate.

On September 14, 1957, he was united in marriage to Arminta Ann Dobson in Wheatland. She preceded him in death on July 4, 2012.

Bill was employed as a Journeyman Pipefitter for AT&T in Lee’s Summit retiring in 1990. He also owned and operated Driskill Cattle Farms and Bill's Trenching. He played basketball for the Jaycee’s well into his 50’s. He enjoyed playing pool, riding four-wheelers on his property, visiting with his friends and neighbors, watching television series (especially Yellowstone) and a good cup of coffee. He especially enjoyed time spent working his cattle and property.

Bill was also preceded in death by his parents and his two sons, Richard Driskill and William “Bill” Driskill, Jr; and Alan Driskill.

He survived by his daughter, Judi (and Nick) Driskill-Brunstein; five grandchildren, Chad (and Megan Kirk) Driskill, Robert “Bobby” Driskill, Misty Driskill, Bryan Driskill, and Grace Brunstein: four great grandchildren, Travis Ebeck, Julia Ebeck, Johnathon Driskill, and Arminta Driskill; four great-great grandchildren; Bentley Driskill, Maddalyn Ebeck, Delilah Ebeck, and Steven Ebeck; four siblings, Robert “Bob” (and Pat) Driskill, Gary (and Phyllis) Driskill, David (and Kris) Driskill, and Rebecca Turner; his longtime companion, Karen Morris; other relatives and friends.

Visitation and funeral services were held Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the funeral home. Pastor Jim Shipley officiated. Interment was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Casket bearers were Brock Chernisky, Jim Crotty, Dave Ewing, Clay Kohler, Josh Paschall, and Bruce Ponder. Honorary casket bearers were Mike Kircher & Billy Snyder.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Big Creek Baptist Church and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
