Terri L. Hurley

Terri Lee Hurley, 70, of Holden, was born, December 8, 1951, in Kansas City, the daughter of Jack C. and Dorothy A. (Fisk) Hurley.  She departed this life, Saturday, May 21, 2022, at the Lee’s Summit Medical Center.

Terri was employed in Shipping and Receiving for Aero Express in Lee’s Summit.  She enjoyed working on the farm she purchased 23 years ago.  She loved raising all types of animals including peacocks, horses, goats, turkey, chickens, geese, sheep, and all the stray cats she could find. 

Terri was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Jackie Sands; and her son-in-law, Kenny Alterman. 

She is survived by her wife of 48 years, Jessie E. Gaston of the home; her daughter, Stacy Jo Alterman of Holden; three grandchildren, Devin Alterman of Lee’s Summit, Britny Alterman of Sedalia, and Davis Alterman of Holden; three nephews; other relatives and friends.

Per her wishes cremation has been accorded.  No services are scheduled.  Inurnment will be on her farm which she loved.
