STEVEN C. CRANTZ

Steven Clark Crantz, 61, of Lee’s Summit, formerly of Pleasant Hill, was born, October 15, 1955, in Lincoln, Nebraska, the son of David Renald and Mary Lou (Clark) Crantz.  He departed this life, Friday, June 16, 2017, at the Lee’s Summit Medical Center, surrounded with love and family.

Steve was a 1973 Broomfield, Colorado, high school graduate.

On May 13, 1999, he was united in marriage to Julie Ann Walker in Casper Wyoming.

Steve owned and operated his own sales and marketing firm. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and sports, especially the Broncos.  He also enjoyed a fine cigar occasionally.  He was a world class salesman and chief! He was a great mentor to many people. Had an amazing, intellect, wit and sense of humor and would do anything for anyone.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Cameron Crantz on October 24, 2014, and his brother, Paul Crantz.

He is survived by his wife, Julie of Lee’s Summit; two sons, David Snyder-Crantz of Casper, Wyoming, and Shawn (and Jessie) Watkins of Gloucester, Virginia; one brother, Todd Crantz of Casper; two sisters, Miriam Smith of Thornton, Colorado, and Susan Howe of Plymouth, Massachusetts; one granddaughter, Jolene Watkins; nieces, Heidi Webber, Hannah Webber, Jamie Howe Doughty, Nichole Howe Harding; aunt and uncles, Mike and Carol Clark, Sam Clark, Mike Clark, and Phil Clark; other relatives and friends.

Cremation has been accorded.
