Robbie Loren

Robbie Max Loren, 56, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born Tuesday, January 6, 1953 in Marion, Ohio, the son of Robert M. and Joan (Trumbo) Loren. He departed this life Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at his home in Pleasant Hill.

On April 29, 1997, Robbie was united in marriage to Vickie Jury; she preceded him in death on November 6, 2006.

Robbie was a Signalman for the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad for 19 years; later working for the lumber company in Little River, South Carolina.

He was also preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his son Cameron age 11 and daughter Olivia age 4, both of Pleasant Hill; father-in-law and mother-in-law Carl and Betty Schuster of Pleasant Hill; a brother Rick Loren of Marion; a half-sister Diane Webb of Marion; step-mother Marlene Loren of Marion; other relatives and friends.

Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service was held Monday, November 2009, at the Stanley-Dickey Funeral Home. Reverend D. Kent Deubner, minister of the First Christian Church of Pleasant Hill officiated.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Strasburg School and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
