Patricia Ann Ross, 80, of Pleasant Hill, Mo. departed this life Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at her home surrounded with love and family.

Pat was born February 19, 1945, in Sedalia, Mo., the daughter of Owen E. and Marjorie K. (McDonald) McCown. Her father died when she was only one year old and was raised by her stepfather, Everett White. She grew up in Windsor, Mo. and was a 1963 Windsor High School graduate.

She was a current member of the Big Creek Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill. She was a former member of the Pleasant Hill First Baptist Church and the Strasburg Baptist Church. In her younger years she enjoyed square dancing, playing softball, playing cards and bowling. As her children grew, she enjoyed coaching softball and supporting her children and grandchildren in all their different activities. Both she and Lloyd were members of the Pleasant Hill Rooster Booster Club. She enjoyed decorating her home, shopping, flower arranging, and helping Lloyd with his beautiful garden. She also loved to laugh and even had a bit of sassiness in her later years that made everyone laugh. Above all, she enjoyed time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Ben McCown.

She is survived by her husband Lloyd of Pleasant Hill; three children, Kathy (and Jimmy) Crotty, Tony (and Missy) Ross, and Tracy (and Jeff) Cox, all of Pleasant Hill; eight grandchildren, Shannon (and Drew) Gray, Tyler (and Kierston) Crotty, Brooke (and Logan) Stephens, Dylan (and Tori) Ross, Taylor Ross, Brandon (and Abbi) Long, Trenton Long, and Ashlyn Long; two step grandchildren, Jessica Cox, and Sid Cox; five great grandchildren, Oakley Gray, Finleigh Gray, Sullivan Gray, Harper Stephens, and Hazel Hull; two siblings, Deloris Logan, Mike (and Gladys) McCown, both of Windsor; and many other relatives and friends.
