Nancy Louise (Hunter) Kauffman, 70, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born Sunday, September 18, 1938 in Hobart, Oklahoma, the daughter of Tillman G. and Florence A. (Eberhart) Hunter. She departed this life Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at her home in Pleasant Hill.

On November 27, 1960 Louise was united in marriage to Roy Glenn Kauffman in Linn Creek, Missouri.

Louise was a homemaker. She was a member of East Point Baptist Church in Russellville, Arkansas.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 brother Tillman G. Hunter, 1 sister Wilma Houselog, and1 great grandchild Jordan Kump.

She is survived by her husband Roy of the home; 2 sons Tillman G. (and Rhonda) Kauffman of Pleasant Hill and Elden R. (and Natalie) Kauffman of Garden City; 2 daughters Nancy J. (and Douglas) McClure of Camdenton, and Wilma L. Sims of Pleasant Hill; 9 brothers Willis (and Eileen) Hunter of Holden, Martin (and Desi) Hunter and Donald (and Eddie) Hunter of Blue Springs, Carl (and Pat) Hunter and Robert (and Sharon) Hunter of Camdenton, Tommy (and Maryanne) Hunter of Sedalia, Jimmy (and Carolyn) Hunter of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Roy (and Gayle) Hunter of Holt, and Richard (and Julie) Hunter of Harrisonville; 2 sisters Laura (and Russell) DeVenney of Columbia and Bertha (and Jerry) Rogers of Camdenton; 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service was held Saturday, March 28, 2009 at the Linn Creek Baptist Church in Camdenton. Inurnment was in the Hunter Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Camdenton, Missouri.
