Miranda Rose McClintock, of Independence, Missouri, was born Sunday, July 13, 1986 in Lee's Summit, Missouri, the Daughter of Jerry Gene McClintock and Patricia Ann (Nyen) McClintock. She departed this life Monday, February 5, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri at the age of 20 years, 5 months and 18 days.
Miranda was a 2004 graduate of Raytown High School. She worked at the Sonic Drive Inn, in Independence most recently as a car hop. She attended the New Life Assembly of God Church in Oak Grove, Missouri. Miranda loved life she liked to work with children, and was active in sports. She liked to sew and do scrap booking in her spare time.
She is survived by her parents Jerry and Patricia McClintock, of Chilhowee, her brother, Jacob of the home; paternal grandparents William R. & his wife Florence McClintock, Pleasant Hill, Missouri and Glenda Rose & her husband Henry Langley, Grain Valley, Missouri; maternal grandparents, Archie and Jean Nyen, Gladstone, Missouri; several aunts and uncles; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, February 9, 2007 at the Stanley-Dickey Funeral Home, Pleasant Hill. Pastor Jack Blansit officiated. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
