Mike Dutcher

John Michael "Mike" Dutcher, 32, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born Friday, April 15, 1977 in Olathe, Kansas, and departed this life Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at his home in Pleasant Hill.

Mike was a 1995 Ray-Pec graduate. On September 18, 2005, he was united in marriage to Patricia L. Sanders at Powell Gardens near Kingsville, Missouri.

Mike was a Journeyman Union Pipefitter. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved boating and fishing as well as spending time four wheeling, riding dune buggies and racing. He and his family spent as much time as they could outside and he was very active in the cub scouts.

Mike was an amazing and wonderful husband, father, son, brother and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Patricia, his 9 year old son Adrian and his 5 year old daughter Emma all of the home; his mother Janice and Dale Evans of Blairstown; his father Richard and Nancy Dutcher of Utah; one brother Adam and Karyn Dutcher of Clinton; one sister Gina and Jon Gasper of Adrian; his grandfather Reverend Chris and Carma Jo Evans of Olathe; Ten Nieces and Nephews; other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services were held Saturday, April 10, 2010 at the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. Reverend Wyatt Shanks of the Pleasant Hill First Baptist Church officiated. Interment was in the Osawatomie Cemetery near Osawatomie, Kansas. Casket bearers were Garrett Alley, Tim DeGroot, Tom DeGroot, Danny McIntyre, Chris Whalen, and Phil Whalen.

Visitation was held Friday evening at the funeral home.
