Michael Pennington

"VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE"

Michael W. Pennington, 51, of Raymore, Missouri, formerly of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born February 27, 1956, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Harold "Bob" and Joyce (Small) Pennington, he departed this life Saturday, May 05, 2007, at his home in Raymore, after a courageous 2 year battle with cancer.

On January 8, 1999, he was united in marriage to Jennifer Ann Hethcock in Pleasant Hill.

After graduating from Pleasant Hill High School, Michael attended and graduated from the University of Missouri at Columbia. He then went on to earn his pharmaceutical degree from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. He was a pharmacist at Bates County Hospital in Butler, MO.

Michael loved to snow ski and golf, but his favorite times were traveling with his family. He was a member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife Jennifer of the home; a son Tyler Pennington, of Kansas City, Missouri; a step-son Will Clark of the home; his mother Joyce Pennington of Pleasant Hill, a sister Diana Redwine and her husband Jim, Pleasant Hill; a nephew Clint Redwine and a niece Andrea Gray both of Pleasant Hill, other relatives and many friends.

Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service was held Tuesday, May 8, 2007, at the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, Reverend Carl Knapp officiated.

Inurnment will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at a later date.
