Maxine Gardner

Maxine May Gardner, of Kingsville, Missouri, formerly of Long Beach, California, and Bullhead City, Arizona was born Monday, August 29, 1927 in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the daughter of Arnold Major and Viola Knutter Major. She departed this life Saturday, November 11, 2006 at the John Knox Village Care Center, Lee's Summit, MO at the age of 79 years, 2 months and 12 days.

On December 15, 1945, Maxine was united in marriage to Norman E. Lee in California. He passed away December 1987. In January 1991she married Harold Gardner in Bullhead City, Arizona, he passed away January 1999.

She and her husband Norman owned and operated Long Beach Triumph Corporation, on the Pacific Coast Highwy from 1956 until their retirement in 1977.

Besides her parents, She was preceded in death by one brother, Donald Major.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda and husband Merton McWhirter, of Kingsville, Missouri and Peggy A. and husband Jim Baranowski , Olympia, Washington; Granddaughter Christie D. Markussen and husband Jeffrey Black, Kingsville; and one Great Grandson, Matthew Lee Black, Kingsville.

Cremation has been accorded. No services are sheduled at this time.
