Mary Jackson

Mary Lorene Jackson, of Harrisonville, Missouri, was born Sunday, January 16, 1927 in Greenwood, Missouri, the daughter of Harry and Laura Hoover Johnson. She departed this life Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at the Camden Health Center, Harrisonville, Missouri at the age of 79 years and 10 months.

On October 21, 1945, Mary was united in marriage to the late John Lloyd Jackson in Harrisonville, MO.

Mary was a Homemaker. Besides her parents, She was preceded in death by a daughter, Edith Marie; a grandson, Jerry Lee Jackson, three sisters, Dora Lee Betts, Kathryn Faulkner, and Lola Witcher; and one brother, Russel Johnson.

She is survived by three sons, Jerry and wife Miriam Jackson, Adrian, Missouri, James and wife Candace Jackson, Warsaw, Missouri, and Lloyd and wife Cathy Jackson, East Lynne, Missouri; one daughter, Dora and husband William Vaughn, Harrisonville, Missouri; 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a sister Dorothy and husband Henry Phillips, Pleasant Hill; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Funeral services were held 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 24, 2006, at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Chapel. Pastor Eldon Allen officiated. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service, also at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Chapel. .
