Marva June Gray, 77, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born Wednesday, October 22, 1930 in Seminole, Oklahoma, the daughter of Thomas L. and Willie Mae (Shults) Daubenspeck. She departed this life Sunday, December 16, 2007, surrounded by her loving family.

On November 24, 1949, June was united in marriage to Perry A. Gray in Pleasant Hill. He preceded her in death on October 14, 1989.

June was a homemaker. She was a member of the Big Creek Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

She is survived by 2 daughters Cheryl Anderson and her husband Ernie and Jeri Barbarick and her husband Dennis all of Pleasant Hill, 10 grandchildren, Kristi Hinton, Tim Anderson, Jamie Burr, Heath Barbarick, John Helmer, Marti Wilmoth, Melia Wilson, Pam Barbarick, Tricia Barbarick, and Megan Burr; 14 great grandchildren; 1 sister Rheta Faubion and her husband Ray of Suffolk, Virginia; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Thursday, December 20, 2007, at the Stanley-Dickey Funeral Home, Pleasant Hill. Reverend Nodell Dennis officiated. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Casket bearers were Tim Anderson, Craig Faubion, Jason Gray, Ryan Gray, John Helmer, David Hertzog, Gary Hinton, and Jack Wilmoth.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Big Creek Baptist Church Building Fund and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
