Mae King

Mae King, 91, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, formerly of Ventura, California, was born April 25, 1924, in Alma, Arkansas, the daughter of Lewis and Mary Armanta (Thompson) Teague. She departed this life on July 27, 2015, at her home in Pleasant Hill.

Mae had been employed as an Office Manager for the City of Ventura.

Mae was preceded in death by her husband Billy N. King on November 16, 2001; one brother Ray Teague; one sister Eunice M. Rudolph; and her daughter, Janyce M. Cohen just a little under a year ago, on August 5, 2014.

She is survived by three grandchildren, Daron (and Stephany) Cohen, and Richard Cohen both of Raymore, Missouri, and Leanne (and Nate) Williams of Belton, Missouri; 5 great grandchildren, Anthony, Kody, Caleb, Peydnn, and Mason; other relatives; and friends.

Mae had such a zest for life. The world is a little less bright with the loss of our 'BamBam'.

Cremation has been accorded. No services are scheduled at this time. Inurnment will be in the King's Cemetery, near Fayetteville, Arkansas, at a later date.
