LOUISE J. RADMACHER
Louise Julia Radmacher, 88, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born on March 14, 1933, in Taos, Missouri, the daughter of Conrad Clemence and Julia (Pepple) Watts Koetting. She departed this life peacefully in the comfort of her home on Friday, December 10, 2021.
Louise graduated from Westphalia High School in 1950. On April 18, 1959, Louise was united in marriage to Edwin S. Radmacher in Taos, Missouri. He preceded her in death on October 21, 1995.
Upon her relocation to Kansas City, she landed her first job at Home Savings Bank. She then worked as the Manager of Public Water District #5 in Pleasant Hill, Missouri for over 30 years. Louise was a devout member of St. Bridget Catholic Church in Pleasant Hill and was very active in the Altar and Rosary Society. She truly was a woman with many passions and a selfless spirit. As a member of the local quilting guild and a lover of crochet, she spent much of her time crafting thoughtful gifts for friends and family. She played in a local bowling league, and was always proud and eager to share her achievements as a bowler at 88. In addition, she was a seasoned gardener with a love for traveling. She was a lifelong fan of the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs, rarely missing a game. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Louise was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Quentin Koetting and Francis Koetting; two sisters Lorine Joannes and infant Mary Jane Koetting; one granddaughter, Jessica Ogan; and her son-in-law, Troy Brinkoetter.
She is survived by three sons, Thomas J. Radmacher, Robert C. (and Leigh) Radmacher, and Kenneth A. (and Kim) Radmacher, all of Pleasant Hill; one daughter, Julia Brinkoetter of Pleasant Hill; twelve grandchildren, Ryan Radmacher, Joseph Radmacher, Scott Radmacher, Rachel Radmacher, Reese Radmacher, Josh (and Brittany) Ogan, Kalani Brinkoetter, Brooke Brinkoetter, Maci Brinkoetter, Lauren (and Jake) Barbarich, Kendra Radmacher, and Kelsey (and Josh) Mueller; four great grandchildren, Hollie Ogan, Jake Radmacher, Tommy Radmacher, and Ava Taylor; one sister, Rosanna Mejia of Pleasant Hill; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Recitation of the Rosary was held Tuesday evening, December 14, 2021, at the funeral home followed by visitation.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, December 15, 2021, at the St. Bridget Catholic Church, Pleasant Hill. Father Curt Vogel officiated. Interment was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Casket bearers were Ryan Radmacher, Joseph Radmacher, Scott Radmacher, Josh Ogan, Jake Radmacher and Josh Mueller.
