L.A. Bartlett

L.A. "Cotton" Bartlett, 66, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri was born Sunday, June 4, 1944 in Greenwood, Arkansas the son of Lloyd Albert and Stella Lucile (McHargue) Bartlett. He departed this life at 6:50 p.m. Thursday, August 12, 2010 at his home

Cotton was a farmer and rancher and had been employed at the Lee's Summit Animal Clinic as a veterinarian tech for 31 years.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bert Roger Bartlett.

He is survived by a brother, Danny Ray "Pete" Bartlett and sister, Sandra Kay "Susie" Bartlett Copeland; four nieces and three nephews.

Cremation has been accorded.

A Celebration Cotton's life will be held from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at his home.

Graveside memorial services and inurnment was held at the Liberty Cemetery in Greenwood, Arkansas on August 21, 2010.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Kansas City Hospice and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
