KEITH W. TUTTLE
Keith William Tuttle, 73, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born, November 18, 1946, in Noel, Missouri, the son of Keith Earnest and Mary Olive (Wheeler) Tuttle. He departed this life, Friday, June 19, 2020, at the Research Medical Center, Kansas City, surrounded by his loving family.
Keith was a 1964 Grandview High School graduate.
On May 3, 1998, he was united in marriage to Janice Louise (Rosanbalm) Palmer in Pleasant Hill. They were happily married for twenty-two years.
Keith was employed as an electrician for the IBEW Local #124 in Kansas City from November 11, 1970 until his retirement. He was a former member of the Grandview Jay-Cee’s and was a Deacon at the Community of Christ Church, Pleasant Hill. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding four wheelers, traveling, cruises, spending time with his grandchildren, and a good game of Dominoes.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father Don Rhinehart; and one sister, Jane Allen.
He is survived by his wife Janice of Pleasant Hill; five children, Lauri Koetting of Pleasant Hill, Chris Tuttle of Austin, Texas, Glenda (and Brent) Alexander, Mark (and Danna) Palmer, and Lisa (and Michael) Layton, all of Pleasant Hill; 13 grandchildren, John Koetting, Jr., Alexandria (and Charles) Plummer, Savanna (and Nico) Pike, Tyler (and Racheal) Repp, Makenzie Layton, Gracie Layton, Emily Layton, Daniel Palmer, Miley Layton, Layla Palmer, Michael Layton, Brinley Layton, and Everly Layton; seven great grandchildren, Justus Koetting, Jace Koetting, Leighton Plummer, Ryleigh Plummer, Kinsley Pike, Shane Repp, and Rylee Pike; five sisters, Janet Ray of Pleasant Hill, Kathy (and Jim) Spencer of Peculiar, Kay English of Peculiar, Lee Ann (and Don) Abney of Pleasant Hill, and Marion (and Matt) Williams of North Kansas City; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Tuesday evening, June 23, 2020 at the funeral home.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at the funeral home. Evangelist Don Carlile officiated. Elder Nancy Allen read the obituary. Interment was in the Longview Cemetery, Kansas City. Casket bearers were Michael Layton, Nico Pike, Tyler Repp, Corey Rosanbalm, John Rosanbalm, Matt Rosanbalm, Brian Spencer, Steve Spencer, Tim Spencer, Jeff Stroot, and David Wheeler; honorary casket bearers were Marion Carlile and Jim Spencer.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Community of Christ Church, Pleasant Hill, and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
