Kay Lynn Bahorski, 55, of Lee's Summit, was born Monday, October 8, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of George Benjamin and Ardath Lois (Richards) DeMink. She departed this life at 4:09 p.m., Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at St. Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit.

She was a 1975 Detroit Cody High School graduate

On July 3, 1978, she was united in marriage to Robert J. Bahorski in Detroit. They were no longer married.

She was a night stocker with Wal-Mart in Lee's Summit for over 20 years. All of her spare time was devoted to children and grandchildren. She was a fantastic mother and grandmother.

Kay was preceded in death by her daughter Karen Lynne Bahorski; one grandson Dillon Bahorski; and one brother Daniel DeMink.

She is survived by four sons Randy Bahorski of Detroit, Joseph Bahorski, Raymond Bahorski, and Jeffrey Bahorski, all of Lee's Summit; one brother David and his wifeInez DeMink of Kansas City; one sister Nancy DeMink of Detroit; five grandchildren, Jordan, Skylar, Ethan, Charlie, and Korey; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Saturday, December 1, 2012, at the funeral home. Reverend Larry Thomas of the Raytown 1st Baptist Church officiated. Interment was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Casket bearers were Randy Bahorski, Joseph Bahorski, Raymond Bahorski, Jeffrey Bahorski, Sean Evens, Anthony Grote, and John Taylor.

Visitation was held prior to the service at the funeral home.
