Jerry Gustin

William Jerry Gustin, 82, of Lone Jack, was born September 14, 1941, in Pleasant Hill, the son of William “Billy” and Monell (Armstrong) Gustin.  He departed this life Friday, December 15, 2023, at the Lee’s Summit Medical Center surrounded with love and family.

Jerry attended Pleasant Hill High School.

He was a United States Navy Vietnam war veteran.

Jerry enjoyed spending over 40 years with wife Sherry.

Jerry was employed as a Construction Manager for C.D.I. in Kansas City, Kansas.  His hobbies were deer hunting and spending time on the lake.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Monell; two son’s Michael Sherwood Gustin and William Mark Gustin; one daughter, Jerrine Gustin; one brother, John D. Gustin; three sisters, Infant Martha Ann Gustin, Betty Gustin-Land, and Joan Gustin-Mitchell.

He is survived by two children, Matt (and Stacy) Gustin and Josinne (and Shannon Akins) Gustin of Pleasant Hill; three stepsons, Nick (and Wendy) Ingrassia of Liberty, Tony (and Chara) Ingrassia of Lee’s Summit, and Ronnie (and Jo) Ingrassia of Kansas City; 16 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Cremation has been accorded. No services are scheduled.

Memorials are suggested to the Pleasant Hill V.F.W. Post #3118 and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
