Inf. Whitacre

Infant Lilly Mae Whitacre was still born at 2:05 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at the Research Medical Center in Kansas City.

How do you love a person who never got to be, or try to envision a face you never got to see? How do you mourn the death of one who never got to live? When there's nothing to feel good about and nothing to forgive? We love you, our little girl, just as if you'd lived for years. No more, no less, I think of you, the Angel of our tears.

She is survived by her parents Luke and Shannon (Sidwell) Whitacre of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; her sister Madison Rae Whitacre of Slater, Iowa; Paternal Grandfather Karl (and Jamie) Whitacre of Tampa, Florida; Paternal Grandmother Terry (and Kevin) Bolles of Kansas City, Missouri; Maternal Grandfather Anthony Sidwell of Raytown, Missouri; Maternal Grandmother Cynthia (and Terry) Lalicker of Lee's Summit, Missouri; several aunts and uncles; and other relatives.

Graveside funeral services were held Saturday, November 12, 2011, at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Reverend Brian Duncan officiated.
