Galvesta S. Harris, 98, of Indianapolis, Indiana, was born October 20, 1909, in Holton, Kansas the daughter Charles M. & Lillie (White) Siever; she departed this life December 2, 2007, in Indianapolis.
On May 21, 1946, she was united in marriage to Paul C. Harris in Holton, Kansas.
She was a graduate of Kansas State University and the Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. She was a physical therapist and had been employed at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma; Dayton, Ohio; Crossroads Rehabilitation Center; and Marquette Manor in Indianapolis. She had also worked with the Aero Products Division of GM in Dayton.
She was a life member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Mortar Board, and the Eastern Star.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2001.
She is survived by her sister Lillian Stanley of Lee's Summit; nephew Clark Stanley and his wife Eugenia of Pleasant Hill, niece Judy Hayes and her husband Mike of Cincinnati, Ohio, several other nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Interment was held at the Holton Kansas Cemetery.
