Esther Ross

Esther Mae Ross, 62, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born Monday, June 30, 1947 in Ellsworth, Kansas, the daughter of John Herman and Emily Maria (Wacker) Saenger. She departed this life Friday, June 11, 2010 at her home in Pleasant Hill.

On September 4, 1967, Esther was united in marriage to Glendon Dean Ross in Sylvan Grove, Kansas. He survives.

Esther was employed as a Kitchen Assistant for the Pleasant Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center and she attended the Strasburg Baptist Church.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Harold Saenger.

She is also survived by one brother Fred Saenger of Hutchinson, Kansas; three sisters Caroline Schroeder of Riverside, California, Ruth Turner of Chandler, Texas, Hilda Schneider of Salina, Kansas, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services were held Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at the Strasburg Baptist Church. Pastor Preston Sanders minister of the church officiated. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Casket bearers were Jim Hull, D.A. Kramer, Bob Ross, Dennis Ross, Jim Ross, Junior Ross, and Lloyd Ross.
