Edna Lucille Springer Enzor, of Mound City, Kansas, formerly of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born Saturday, January 11, 1902 in Chillicothe, Illinois, the daughter of James W. and Katie E. (Sarver) Kavanaugh. She departed this life Tuesday, January 6, 2009 her home at the age of 106 years, 11 months and 26 days.

On April 12, 1922, she was united in marriage to Roy F. Springer in Carthage, Missouri. He preceded her in death on July 21, 1955. In 1960 she married Roscoe G. Enzor. He preceded her in death in 1990.

Edna was a homemaker. Later she worked for the Colonial Poultry farms and for the Lake City Arsenal. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Topeka and was a former member of the Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodge in Topeka, Kansas.

She was also preceded in death by 4 sons Roy G. Springer, Amos G. Springer, Robert Lee Springer, and Loren C. Springer; 2 brothers Elmer L. Kavanaugh and Charles L Kavanaugh; and her sister Mabel M. Kavanaugh.

She is survived by her children Gail F. (and Ruth) Springer of Gunn City, Missouri, Thelma (and Paul) Scott of Springfield, Missouri, Eileen (and Jim) Gordon of Chillicothe, Missouri, Wayne E. (and Geneva) Springer of Harrisonville, Missouri, June Shepherd (and Raymond) of Mound City, Kansas, and Dolores (and Bruce) Duck of Altamont, Missouri; 34 Grandchildren; 80 Great Grandchildren, 51 Great-Great Grandchildren; and 10 Great-Great-Great Grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services were held Sunday, January 11, 2009 at the funeral home. Kelly McCoy minister of the Pleasant Hill Church of Christ officiated. Burial was in the Staley Mound Cemetery. Casket bearers were Brian Gordon, Rick Peek, Kenny Lee Springer, Kevin Springer, Ronnie Springer, and Rusty Springer. Honorary casket bearers were Nancy Lee, Carolyn Nelson, Larry Scott, and Bethany Truitt Memorial contributions are suggested to Southern Care Hospice and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
