Constance LeAnn “Connie” Miles, 59, of Raytown, Missouri, formerly of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born January 31, 1965, in Harrisonville. She departed this life Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at her home.
On June 18, 1985, Connie was united in marriage to Dennis Michael Miles in Belton, Missouri, and to this union two children, Heather and Micheal, were born. They later divorced.
Connie was employed by Walmart working at several locations throughout her career including Harrisonville, Missouri, Killeen, Texas, Lawton, Oklahoma, and most recently in Raytown, Missouri. Early in her career she worked at the A.D. Mohr Greenhouse, the Veneer Plant and operated her own in-home daycare all while living in Pleasant Hill. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Pleasant Hill. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her cats. She was a gifted seamstress and used her talents to make hundreds of Barbie outfits over her lifetime.
Connie was loving, giving, kind, and a woman of deep faith. Her entire life she put others before herself. Most important to her was her family, especially her grandchildren.
Connie was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara S. Hatfield and one brother, Danny Oswald.
She is survived by her children, Heather (and James Albert) Snider of Harker Heights, Texas, and Micheal (and Cindy) Miles of Raytown; seven grandchildren, Zane Helt, Valora Partney, Jessa Thomas, Jerrika Snider, Vera Partney, Judah Snider, and James L. H. Snider; one brother, David Brown of Independence; other relatives and friends.
Visitation and funeral services were held Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the funeral home. Reverend Ken Johnson officiated. Cremation was accorded following the service.
