Carol T. Crosby

Carol Teresa Crosby, 66, of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born June 18, 1957, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, the daughter of Ralph Lee and Maxine Edith (Knight) Crosby.  She departed this life Thursday, April 25, 2024, in Lee’s Summit.

Carol grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee and Birmingham, Alabama, later moving to Shawnee Mission, Kansas where she graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in 1975.  She later attended Johnson County Community College.

Carol was employed in Admitting for the Shawnee Mission Medical Center for over 25 years.  She enjoyed crafting and was an avid reader. She was especially fond of caring for her three cats B.J., Charlie, and Wendy.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents and two infant twin sisters Gayle and Sharon.

She is survived by her siblings, Ralph (and Sue) Crosby of Johnstown, Colorado and Lisa (and Randy) Greufe of Pleasant Hill; one niece, Clover Crosby of Rochester, New York; one nephew, Hunter Greufe of Pleasant Hill; other relatives and friends.

Per Carol’s wishes, cremation has been accorded.  No services are scheduled.
