Billie J. Partain

Billie Jean Partain, 75, of Kingsville, was born, November 14, 1947, in Kingsville, the daughter of Thomas Lex and Wilma Jean (Crawford) Underwood.  She departed this life Wednesday, November 15, 2022, at the Aspire Senior Living Center in Oak Grove.

Billie was a 1965 Lone Jack High School graduate.

On December 12, 1984, she was united in marriage to Alvie Wavin Partain in Miami, Oklahoma.  He preceded her in death on September 17, 2005.

Billie was employed as a Billing Clerk for American Forklift in Kansas City.  She and Alvie also owned and operated the A&B Forklift Co. in Kingsville.  She was a member of the Lone Jack Christian church where she loved working in the Food Pantry. She enjoyed working in her yard and caring for her poodles, Tippy-Two and Tray.

Billie was also preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Jody Gray on January 23, 2021; and an infant granddaughter.

Cremation has been accorded.

A graveside service was held Tuesday, November 22, 2022, in the Underwood Cemetery.  Reverend James Stanfield-Myers officiated.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Lone Jack Christian Church Food Pantry and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
