Betty Wilmoth

Mrs. Betty Anne Wilmoth of Pleasant Hill, Missouri was born February 6, 1930 in Harrisonville, Missouri the daughter of Walter Howard and Anna Elizabeth (Garten) Russell. She departed this life Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Pleasant Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center, Pleasant Hill at the age of 77 years, 9 months and 18 days.

On, February 28, 1948 Betty Anne was united in marriage to Lillard Carson Wilmoth in Pleasant Hill, Missouri.

Betty Anne was a homemaker and later was employed as a dental assistant for J.B. Jeans, D.D.S., Pleasant Hill. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Harrisonville, Missouri. She had lived in Harrisonville before moving to Pleasant Hill.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Russell and a sister, Jane Proctor.

She is survived by her husband, Lillard C. Wilmoth of the home; two sons, Todd R. Wilmoth and wife, Linda, Clinton, Illinois, Robert D. Wilmoth and wife, Joyce, Lee's Summit, Missouri; a daughter, Carson Anne Wilmoth, Pleasant Hill, Missouri; three grandchildren; two brothers, Leland Russell, Independence, Missouri, Bob Russell, Raymore, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 28, 2007, at the Stanley-Dickey Funeral Home. Reverend Charles Sutton officiated. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Casket bearers were Sam Davenport, Chad Scrutchfield, Clint Sloan, Lincoln Wilmoth, Michael Wilmoth, and Perry Wilmoth.
