Austin Crotts

Austin B. Crotts, Pleasant Hill, Missouri, was born Wednesday, September 30, 1931 in Ardasty, Arkansas, the son of Lester and Gilley Ettermarie (Roberts) Crotts. He departed this life Friday, March 2, 2007 at the Pleasant Hill Health & Rehabilitation Center at the age of 75 years, 5 months and 2days.

On May 16, 1958, Austin was united in marriage to Pearley Estes in Salem, Arkansas.

He was a heavy equipment operator for the Missouri Department of Transportation Highway Department.

He loved working in his garden and his many pets.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Marla Gayle Crotts in 1974.

He is survived by his wife, Pearley Crotts, Pleasant Hill; 1 brother, Orville Lee Crotts and his wife Joan, Elizabeth, Arkansas; a sister Lucille Porterfield, Calico Rock, Arkansas; other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services were held Monday, March 5, 2007 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery Chapel. Reverend Harold D. Dinsmore officiated. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Vernon Breckenridge, Michael Lugenbeel, Rick Schmoll, Bill Seaman, Robin Sharp, and Clark Stanley.
